Job Summary
The Engineering Co op supports the Engineering team by assisting with technical documentation, CAD data management, and product data organization. This role works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that product information, drawings, and documentation are accurate, up to date, and effectively maintained.
This position provides hands-on experience with real-world engineering systems and processes, contributing to continuous improvement efforts across documentation and data management workflows.


Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Data Management

  • Assist with editing and maintaining owner’s manuals
  • Assist with editing and maintaining parts manuals
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, clarity, and consistency

CAD & Engineering Support

  • Edit and maintain CAD models and engineering drawings
  • Support updates to existing designs and assemblies
  • Ensure drawing revisions are properly controlled and documented

Product Data Management (Omnify)

  • Upload drawings into ERP system
  • Upload and maintain data for parts and assemblies in ERP system
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and organization within the system

Manufacturing Support

  • Edit and create production line work instructions
  • Support improvements to manufacturing documentation and processes


Qualifications
Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline
  • Prior internship or project experience in a technical or design environment is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Basic experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or similar preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)

Professional Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment


Travel Requirements
Minimal travel may be required.

Compensation Information:

Compensation ranges from: $23 to $28/hour based on education and experience
