We support the adaptation and scaling of evidence-based approaches across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and other regions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Global Media & Content Intern to support a range of media-related activities across our global programs. The intern will help coordinate filming efforts, organise and review footage, support content planning, and ensure timely follow-up with internal teams and external partners.

The intern will work closely with Pratham International's Communications and Program teams and may support content emerging from partner visits, workshops, conferences, learning exchanges, and field filming.

The intern will work with stories, footage, and content from Pratham International's programs across Africa, Latin America, South Asia, and other regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and follow-up related to filming and content collection across program locations.
  • Review, organise, tag, and catalogue photos and video footage.
  • Maintain media libraries and ensure files are stored systematically.
  • Track content requests, deadlines, and deliverables across teams.
  • Support the identification and selection of footage for different communications and storytelling needs.
  • Assist in planning content usage across reports, presentations, social media, websites, and partner communications.
  • Liaise with videographers, editors, communications teams, and program staff as needed.
  • Help compile shot lists, content trackers, and basic storyboards.
  • Conduct quality checks on media assets and flag missing content or follow-up needs.
  • Provide general support on communications and media projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate or postgraduate student in Media, Communications, Journalism, Film, Design, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing large volumes of digital files and content.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive, Airtable, Notion, Excel, or similar organisational tools.
  • Basic understanding of video production and editing workflows.
  • Interest in education, social impact, and international development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud Apps (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Experience working with WordPress Websites and basic HTML
  • Experience in assisting and producing deliverable relating to Graphic Design, Photography, and videography

Compensation

  • 10K for students with a Bachelor's degree, 15K for students with a Master's degree (Commensurate with experience)
