A2R (Account-to-Report) Intern

A2R Intern – Overview

As an A2R (Account-to-Report) Intern at NCR Atleos, you’ll gain exposure to core accounting and financial operations within a global organization, with a focus on Accounts Receivable subledger activities and period-end close processes.

This internship provides hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting processes, while working closely with experienced finance professionals. You will support day-to-day A2R activities and contribute to ensuring accurate and timely financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in A2R activities related to the Accounts Receivable subledger.
  • Support period-end and month-end close processes.
  • Help prepare and post basic accounting adjustments under supervision.
  • Assist in reconciliations between subledger and General Ledger.
  • Analyze discrepancies and support issue resolution.
  • Monitor basic system processes and escalate issues when needed.
  • Support preparation of reports and financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AR, Cash Application, Treasury).
  • Maintain documentation of processes and accounting activities.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g. AR, reconciliations).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic data analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in a global finance setting.
