PR Intern (f/m/d)

Description

QuantumDiamonds is looking for a motivated and creative PR Intern (f/m/d) to support our growing communications and brand presence. In this role, you will help tell the story of one of Europe's most exciting deep-tech startups, translating complex quantum sensing and semiconductor innovations into engaging content for media, stakeholders, and the broader public.

You will work closely with the Business department, gaining hands-on experience across public relations, media outreach, content creation, employer branding, and corporate communications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology, storytelling, and building awareness for groundbreaking innovations.

If you bring the right energy, mindset, and ownership, this internship can evolve into a full-time position after 6 months.

What will you do

• Support the planning and execution of PR and communication activities across various channels.
• Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, blog articles, newsletters, and company announcements.
• Research journalists, media outlets, industry events, and speaking opportunities relevant to QuantumDiamonds.
• Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor communications.
• Help coordinate award applications, conference submissions, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to transform complex topics into compelling stories.
• Support employer branding initiatives by highlighting our culture, people, and achievements.
• Assist in maintaining communication materials, press kits, and media contact databases.
• Contribute to social media and content campaigns that strengthen QuantumDiamonds' visibility and reputation.

What is expected of you

• Currently pursuing or already holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
• Previous exposure to deep-tech, engineering-driven, semiconductor, or B2B environments is beneficial, but not required—we value potential, curiosity, and a willingness to learn above all.
• A natural storyteller with a passion for technology, innovation, and bringing complex ideas to life.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Curious, creative, and eager to learn.
• Familiarity with content creation, social media, or media relations tools is a plus.
