About the Role:

The Summer Intern in the Tax Department offers a comprehensive exposure to various aspects of tax compliance, research, and reporting within a dynamic corporate environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with tax software, analyzing financial data, and understanding tax regulations and their practical applications. By collaborating with experienced tax professionals, the intern will develop a strong foundation in tax principles and enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, this role aims to provide meaningful learning opportunities that prepare the intern for a future career in tax or accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides Tax Department clerical assistance.
  • Interact with members of the public, on the telephone or in person, in a courteous and professional manner
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties, which may include, but not be limited to, proofreading, sorting, filing records or forms, answering thetelephone and conveying messages.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.
