Compensation: $13.00 hourly

Job Summary: The Church at Lake Mead Intern will assist in the planning, organization, and execution of youth/church ministry programs and events. This role involves collaborating with senior staff members to support the spiritual growth and development of the congregation within the church community. The position offers an opportunity to develop leadership abilities while contributing positively to the church environment. 

Weekly Schedule (subject to change):

Sundays 

8:20 AM - 12:20 PM (Sunday Church)

Wednesdays

1:00 PM - 3:15 PM (Office Hours & Preaching Team)

5:50 PM - 8:30 PM (Underground)

Thursdays

12 PM - 4 PM (Office Hours & Staff Meeting)

Internship Objectives: 

• Faithfully serves Underground and Sunday services
• Grows in faith, prayer life, and ministry giftings
• Learns by reading two books, observing, and attending staff meetings
• Facilitates UG food schedule and LMCM projects
• Preaches 3-5 times 

Other duties as the supervisor deems necessary

• Demonstrates spiritual flourishing through personal disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and outreach to others
• Believes the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God
• Agrees with and actively supports the LMCM Statement of Faith
• Shows evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in interactions with people
• Has a Christ-centered home
• Attends and actively participates in a local evangelical church
