About the Role

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for an Intern to join our dynamic team.

This internship provides hands-on experience in purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory support, and procurement administration within a highly regulated MRO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders
  • Support purchasing personnel with supplier communications regarding order status, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Track shipments and assist in monitoring delivery performance
  • Help verify purchasing data and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining files and records in accordance with company requirements
  • Coordinate with stockroom, production, and quality control regarding purchasing-related matters
  • Assist with generating reports and procurement-related data analysis
Qualifications

Skills and Education Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications such as Excel, Word, & Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in teams

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, filing, and operating office equipment
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching to retrieve files or office materials
  • Ability to lift up to 10lbs.
  • Visual ability to read documents, computer screens, and detailed reports
  • Exposure to a professional office and manufacturing environment with occasional noise from production areas
