Position Overview:

The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team across a variety of daily operations, projects, and employee‑facing initiatives. This role is ideal for a student or early‑career professional interested in gaining hands‑on experience in HR processes, employee engagement, recruiting, and HR administration. The intern will work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth and efficient HR workflows.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations Support — Assist with day‑to‑day HR tasks including document preparation, data entry, employee file maintenance, and HR system updates.
  • Onboarding Coordination — Support new hire onboarding by preparing welcome materials, tracking required documents, and helping ensure a smooth first‑day experience.
  • Recruiting Assistance — Help schedule interviews and communicate with candidates as needed.
  • Employee Engagement — Contribute to planning and executing engagement activities, recognition programs, and HR‑led events.
  • HR Reporting — Assist with compiling HR metrics, updating spreadsheets, and preparing reports for HR leadership.
  • Policy & Compliance Support — Help maintain compliance documentation and support audits or policy updates as assigned.
  • Special Projects — Participate in ongoing HR initiatives such as process improvements, employee surveys, or system enhancements.

 

Experience / Education Preferred: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Above average communication/written skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and convey a positive image at all times.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Experience with computers and software packages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • English Language
