Responsibilities


As a R&D Mechanical Engineer summer intern you will be part of a product development team that designs, develops, and tests the industries best performing RF and microwave test equipment. You will apply your Mechanical Engineering skills to the design process including conceptual design, theoretical analysis, creation of prototypes and interacting with suppliers.

This is an opportunity for you to be part of an R&D team that is new products and technologies to the market faster and more efficiently than ever before. You will be responsible for focused deliverables while working with experienced mentors, gaining a hands-on design experience. The internship will allow you to gain experience in many aspects of design including: system level mechanical architecture, chassis, die cast parts, subassemblies, thermal analysis and cooling, packaging of electrical components, mechanical testing and EMI shielding techniques.

CA Pay Range: MIN $ $32.03  - MAX $34.49

Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.
