About the Role

Summary



As a Territory Sales Intern, you will support the sales team in driving growth within an assigned territory through both existing account support and new customer outreach. You will gain hands-on experience in healthcare sales, customer relationship management, and territory planning while learning how to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. This role provides exposure to working with sleep physicians, sleep dentists, and other key stakeholders in the sleep medicine and dental fields.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Assist in tracking and supporting territory revenue goals, including maintaining accurate records and contributing to forecasting activities.
  • Support the sales team in preparing for and participating in customer visits, conferences, and including in-person meetings with key accounts (travel may be required).
  • Learn and develop knowledge of ProSomnus’ products, value proposition, and clinical benefits.
  • Help promote and support the sale of ProSomnus products by:
    • Assisting with identifying and researching potential new target accounts
    • Supporting outreach efforts to expand existing accounts
  • Conduct research on market trends and competitive landscape to inform territory strategies.
  • Support the team in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Assist in developing territory plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly) by analyzing sales data and performance reports.
  • Help coordinate and participate in networking opportunities across care settings (e.g., sleep dentistry, sleep physicians, ENT practices).
  • Develop a foundational understanding of clinical evidence and learn to communicate product value under guidance.
  • Assist in managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide support in addressing customer needs by helping gather information, researching solutions, and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of industry events, educational programs, and KOL engagements.
  • Follow company policies, including Travel & Expense guidelines and Standards of Business Conduct & Ethics.

Education and/or Experience

 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or recent graduate (within 12 months) in a relevant discipline
  • Previous internship, coursework, or extracurricular experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or healthcare is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, medical devices, or healthcare industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar tools preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
