Join Maxis as a Commercial Pricing Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise commercial pricing and deal evaluation activities within a dynamic telecommunications environment. This role offers exposure to pricing analysis, financial modelling, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration, while working closely with multiple business teams to support strategic commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing Analysis & Commercial Support

• Assist the pricing team in preparing pricing assessments, financial models, and commercial comparisons for Enterprise deals across mobile and fiber solutions.

• Support pricing evaluations to ensure competitiveness and commercial viability.

2. Data Compilation & Reporting

• Consolidate pricing data, deal trends, competitor benchmarks, and approval outcomes into structured reports and dashboards.

• Support management reporting and data-driven decision-making processes.

3. Pricing Governance & Documentation

• Assist in maintaining pricing documentation, approval trackers, LOA compliance records, and audit-ready repositories for submitted deals.

• Ensure documentation is accurate, organised, and aligned with governance requirements.

4. Process Improvement & Automation Support

• Support initiatives to improve efficiency within pricing workflows through automation and digitalisation.

• Assist in streamlining proposal generation, request management, and repetitive manual processes.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Bid Management, Finance, and Product teams to gather information required for pricing evaluation.

• Support coordination to ensure completeness and accuracy of submissions.

Value-Added Project

The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to a value-added project focused on improving efficiency within the Enterprise Commercial Pricing function.

This may include developing:

• A pricing dashboard

• A competitor pricing repository

• A pricing automation prototype

• An analytics tool to improve visibility on deal turnaround time, approval trends, and pricing competitiveness

• The project will provide valuable exposure to real enterprise commercial operations and strategic decision-making within a large telecommunications environment.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related fields

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities

• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced commercial environment
