About the Role

To extend our aspirations on human development on our wide breath of technologies and work cultures, we are offering a motivated Engineer Intern hand on experience working along with our field service team expert in equipment installation and related services. This internship provides practical exposure to field operations, technical diagnostics, and industrial service practices.

 

Overview:

The Field Service Intern will work along with our field service team in Veeco tools installation, maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issue at customer sites. This internship provides firsthand experience with real-world field service activities and exposure to customer-facing technical work.

What you will learn:

  • Real-world field service operations in Semiconduction and AI space.
  • Hands on equipment experience by assisting Field Service Engineers during on-site installations, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Prepare field service reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Customer communication on customer service activities at customer sites
  • Conduct basic testing and calibration of equipment.
  • Technical reporting and documentation
  • Safety compliance and operational procedures.
  • Internal teams’ coordination and technical support.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering/or related field.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and technical documentation is an advantage.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
  • Ability and willingness to travel/work at customer sites when required.

 

Duration of internship:

6 months.
