About the Role 

Are you currently in your penultimate or final year of undergraduate studies at university and ready to kickstart your career with us in January 2027? If so, this could be the perfect program for you! 

GSK’s Industry Based Learning (IBL) Program is a 12-month, full time Internship program that is the perfect opportunity to take on a role with genuine impact. It’s challenging and a chance to work on live projects or assignments. You get to learn from us, develop your skills and gain valuable experience for wherever the future takes you. 

 

We have several roles available in the Medical & Clinical Stream, based in Abbotsford, Melbourne, Australia.  If working alongside experienced scientists to find the next generation of breakthrough medicines and vaccines is what you endeavor to do, our Medical and Clinical Stream could be for you.

You will be immersed in your chosen area, with core objectives to deliver as you learn and grow. You will also have plenty of opportunities to discover how other parts of our business operate and fit together.

About you 

You will be an effective communicator who can quickly build rapport with a wide range of people. You will be able to easily adapt to change and keep focused. While you have the drive and confidence to trust your own judgment, you’re a real team player who actively collaborates with others.

You must be able to work full time from January 2027 to January 2028

You will need to be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia, a New Zealand Citizen, or be able to provide proof that you have valid working rights that enable you to work full time for the 12-month period of the program (without restrictions).
