About the Role

Role Overview

As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across financial planning & analysis, financial control, and reporting. Working within the Finance division, you will support both the FP&A and Financial Control & Reporting teams — contributing to management reporting, financial analysis, and control processes in a fast-paced digital banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.

  • Assist in monthly performance analysis, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory reports.

  • Provide support during budget and forecast cycles, including data consolidation and coordination with relevant teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for planning, reporting, and data submission.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in planning and reporting cycles.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and tasks as required to support the finance team.


Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables); PowerPoint is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with financial modelling, financial systems, or data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to present data clearly and work collaboratively.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Eagerness to learn across both planning and control functions.
