About the Role

Your team

We're looking for a technically strong working student to support and improve our Jira and Confluence environment. You'll help our teams work more efficiently by building automations, refining workflows, and handling day-to-day administration. This is a hands-on role with room to take ownership and bring your own ideas — especially around modern AI tooling.

About you

  • Currently enrolled as a student, preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field (enrollment is a requirement for working student roles in Germany)
  • Strong technical background — scripting is no obstacle for you (e.g., JQL, Python)
  • Interest in or experience with Jira/Confluence administration
  • A structured, problem-solving mindset and willingness to dig into technical configuration
  • Curiosity about AI tools and how they can improve team workflows
  • Good communication skills to work with different teams
  • Fluent in the English Language (German is a plus)

Your responsibilities

  • Build Jira automations to reduce manual work and streamline team processes
  • Improve workflows by identifying pain points and helping teams optimize their use of Jira and Confluence
  • Set up the OIDC connection between Jira and our Identity Provider (IDP)
  • Drive agility with AI tools, exploring and introducing AI-assisted ways of working
  • Benchmark and report on development velocity, throughput, and bottlenecks
  • Manage access and permissions across our tools
  • Handle general sys-admin tasks beyond Jira as they come up

Salary Range:
  • 17 - 20 EUR gross per hour.

Our offer to you

  • Mentorship and learning opportunities
  • Flexible, mostly remote work with a Berlin home base
  • Real ownership and the chance to shape how our teams work
  • Exposure to modern tooling, automation, and AI-assisted development
  • A collaborative team that values initiative
