Summary of Internship Programme
You will learn the fundamentals of managing an event from end to end. This includes liaising with event promoters to confirm ticket prices, promotions and events on-sale dates and working on the ground at the box office to manage guests’ expectations, as well as understanding more about retail mall-related marketing campaigns.
Job Responsibilities
Interns will spend half of their time with the Box office team and the other half with either Ticketing Operations or Clients Services team.
Box Office
- Engage visitors in a positive and professional manner and act as the crowd controller in various box offices.
- Assist with ticket processing for events and liaising with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure accuracy.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports and perform basic data analysis for efficiency and manpower planning.
Ticketing Operations
- Support the Ticketing Operations team in coordinating with internal stakeholders, including ArtScience Museum and Attractions, on event on-sale matters.
- Assist with updating collaterals, ticket templates, checklists, and reference guides.
- Conduct market research on assigned topics, consolidate findings, and present insights to the team.
Client Services
- Ensure data integrity by maintaining up-to-date records of event sales on a weekly basis.
- Fulfil promoters’ event-related requests, including but not limited to creation of promotions, issuance of complimentary tickets, and management of seat holds.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Marketing, Communications, and E-commerce to ensure the accuracy and alignment of event information across platforms.
- Support the team in analysing ticket sales performance, including promotions and campaign effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student
- Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements
Experience
- No experience required as training will be provided

- Able to put customer experience as a top priority
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Well-organised, meticulous with an eye for details
- Willingness to learn and explore new areas
- Shows initiative and is proactive in taking on tasks and proposing improvements
