The Intern supports daily office operations by assisting with phone coverage, filing, and general administrative tasks while gaining exposure to the fundamentals of property management. This role provides hands-on learning in a professional environment and contributes to a positive experience for residents and visitors. This role assists with filing and document organization to ensure orderly office records and contributes to routine administrative tasks as needed. The intern greets residents and visitors in a courteous and professional manner and has the opportunity to observe and participate in basic property management functions to build foundational industry knowledge. All duties must be performed in compliance with company policies and with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited school (highschool, vocational) program. 
  • Strong communicaitons skills (both written and verbal).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionlism in a customer facing environment.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office located within a residential property. The intern will interact regularly with staff, residents, and guests and is expected to uphold a courteous and service-oriented demeanor at all times.

Physcial Requirements

Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching in various directions is required. The intern must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and operate standard office equipment. The role also requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing administrative tasks.
