About this role
We're expanding our Grocery & Retail segment, and we're looking for a commercial-minded intern to join our Partner Excellence team. This role focuses on driving partner growth through account management, revenue optimization, and opera
tional excellence.
You'll work directly with Small & Medium Business partners to negotiate promotional campaigns, manage pricing strategies, and improve key operational metrics. You'll also support visual content quality to enhance the customer experience. If you're analytical, commercially savvy, and eager to make a real business impact, this is your opportunity.
Location: Hybrid – 3 days a week from our Milan office & 2 days working from home
Duration: 6-month internship (curricular or extracurricular) – Monthly allowance €600 + €7 daily meal voucher
These are some of the key components to the position:
- Drive revenue growth through upselling activities, negotiating promotional campaigns, special offers, and pricing strategies with Small & Medium Business partners.
- Monitor and improve key operational metrics such as Partner Availability, Bad Order Rate (BOR), Churn, and Temp-Off to ensure operational excellence and partner retention.
- Act as the main point of contact for partners, providing strategic support to boost sales performance and Average Order Value through data-driven insights.
- Manage visual content quality by uploading partner photos and creating/editing headers using tools like Photoshop or AI to enhance the customer purchasing experience.
- Organize and maintain the internal photo database and partner performance data, ensuring efficient tracking and accessibility for the Sales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute promotional campaigns and analyze their impact on partner performance and business outcomes.
What will you bring to the table?
- Fluency in Italian (fluent) and good command of English (written and spoken) for effective multicultural collaboration.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Excel to analyze partner data, manage campaigns, and track performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with partners and drive commercial discussions effectively.
- Proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice to have: Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools for visual content creation and editing.
