As an intern, you will contribute to the success of our organization by completing projects for our customers on time and with a high degree of quality. You will have exposure to various types of projects related to industrial control panel building and wiring.

On a daily basis as an intern, you will...

  • Wire industrial control panels according to schematics.
  • Create labels and apply correctly to wires and terminal blocks.
  • Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain clean work area; promptly remove debris.
  • Follow and comply with all safety protocols and work regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited program in a related field.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy, to include use of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and engineering protocols and standards.


Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Work environment is light industrial, with exposure to a moderate level of noise. Daily operations in work environment includes the use of basic power tools, hand tools, and repetitive hand motion in manipulating electrical wires. Sitting, standing, and bending at waist for up to 3 consecutive hours at time. May need to reach above shoulder height for extended periods of time. May be exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Must be able to climb stairs, and move freely between aisles of parts, equipment, shelving units. Must be able to carry or lift at least 25 pounds.
