About The Company
MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES with PLUMPJACK We provide more than just a meal, a hotel room, a bottle of wine, we provide memorable and meaningful experiences. From award-winning wines to innovative restaurants to boutique hotels, we are here to make your life a little more spectacular. PlumpJack Group is a collection of hospitality and lifestyle businesses dedicated to creating unique individual experiences for its guests and customers. We began in 1992 when partner, former San Francisco mayor and current Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, founded the first PlumpJack Wine Store on Fillmore Street with the goal of making the experience of wine discovery more fun and approachable for all – the connoisseur and the uninitiated alike. More than two decades later, under the leadership of Hilary Newsom and Jeremy Scherer, PlumpJack Group has established itself as the signature Northern California lifestyle and hospitality brand.
About the Role

PlumpJack Winery possesses a strong reputation for crafting some of the most exceptional wines in the Napa Valley. While our flagship is our Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate in the prestigious Oakville AVA, we are also well-known for crafting outstanding Chardonnay, Merlot, and Syrah wines. Though recognized for our wines, we have also gained attention for our positive culture, innovative spirit, and our socially and environmentally conscientious efforts.

We are seeking motivated individuals interested in working alongside our Winemaker and Assistant Winemaker to gain invaluable experience crafting wines of remarkable quality. This opportunity is ideal for any aspiring winemaker looking for practical experience as a member of a small winemaking team.
