We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology:



Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will mainly assist the research teams in research projects "Application of AI-enabled Prediction of Riverine Ecosystem Health for Sustainable Development" (R6759) and "Integrating AI-driven Techniques and Advanced IoT Monitoring to Assess Seawater Intrusion Impacts on Inland Riverine Systems" (R6832). He / She will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Conducting experimental research as instructed by the investigators;
  • Performing data analysis;
  • Assisting in report writing and presentation of the results;
  • Providing effective office support and research related assistance; and
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Principal Investigator(s) or Supervisor(s).

     

 
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in a face-to-face programme in Science and Technology or a related discipline;
  • Strong interest and enthusiasm for hydrological engineering and artificial intelligence;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, effective organizational and interpersonal skills; and
  • Good command of English and Chinese.
 
Remuneration
HK$75 per hour
 
Duration of Appointment
The duration of the appointment will be 10 months.
 
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.  Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
