About the Role
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

The Cargo team supports the airline’s end-to-end cargo operations, flydubai Cargo’s products, market positioning, value-added services, organizational structure, and emphasizing the strategic importance of DXB as a global hub. The team liaises with international and local regulatory bodies, internal cargo processes, capacity planning and optimisation, interline and road feeder partnerships, pricing and tariff structures and commercial performance monitoring.

 

About The Role 

 

The 8-week rotational internship programme is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of cargo operations at flydubai. Interns will gain exposure to key areas of the cargo industry, including capacity management, cargo pricing, cargo handling, and the roles and responsibilities of various operational functions. Through hands-on experience and guided support from experienced professionals, the programme offers valuable insight into end-to-end cargo operational workflows. 

 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct basic research, data gathering, and analysis to support departmental objectives.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain accurate documentation, reports, presentations, and trackers.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and briefings, and capture key actions or learnings when required.
  • Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to support smooth workflow.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, time management, and a strong willingness to learn
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle company information responsibly at all times.
  • Prepare and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship outlining the department overview, key  learnings, and any new ideas, improvement opportunities, or recommendations that could be considered for implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent a must.
  • Fluent in English
  • Systems Knowledge in Microsoft Office/365

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations
