Duties & Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications Intern will support a variety of marketing initiatives and gain hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with the development of marketing content, including blogs, website copy, email campaigns, and promotional materials
  • Support social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement efforts
  • Collaborate with Creative Services on the development of marketing assets and campaign materials
  • Assist with email marketing campaign execution and performance tracking
  • Support trade show, event, and promotional marketing activities
  • Contribute to internal and external communications initiatives
  • Assist with maintaining content calendars, project timelines, and campaign deliverables
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams on lead generation and sales enablement initiatives
  • Participate in campaign planning sessions, team meetings, and brainstorming discussions
  • Analyze campaign performance and help identify opportunities for improvement
  • Complete a capstone project and present key learnings and contributions to leadership at the conclusion of the internship

Experience & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating content for social media, blogs, newsletters, or websites
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools
  • Exposure to email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools
  • Understanding of marketing analytics, campaign reporting, or digital marketing concepts
  • Previous internship, campus organization, or project experience related to marketing or communications
