About our role: 

Displayed pay range (base salary) is a guide and local market specific. The pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on skill set and professional experience assessed throughout the interview process.

 EUR 800 per month 

This internship is designed to support the Marketing team in executing and analyzing brand activities across Kao’s personal care portfolio (including Guhl, John Frieda, Bioré, Bondi Sands, and Curél). The intern contributes to both online and offline marketing initiatives, including PR support, campaign development, and market and competitor analysis. The role provides hands-on experience in real marketing projects, data-driven insights (e.g., IRI analysis), and brand management support. It exists to strengthen day-to-day marketing execution while developing future marketing talent within a dynamic, international FMCG environment.

What you will do: 

  • Support marketing team with day-to-day brand activities, including campaign and project execution.
  • Assist with market and competitor analysis, including tracking trends and preparing insights.
  • Support public relations activities such as event preparation, media materials, and reporting.
  • Contribute to product and brand projects, including brainstorming and launch support for new initiatives.
  • Work on independent analysis projects using data tools and present findings to the team      

What you will need: 

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in marketing and the FMCG/personal care industry.
  • Previous internship experience in marketing, brand management, FMCG, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and support business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. (Experience with data analysis tools and digital marketing is a plus.)
