About the Role

About Us:

Norsat International Inc. is seeking a student enrolled in an undergraduate program in Marketing or Business Administration to work for the Fall term. Throughout the internship, you will have a hands-on real-world experience with different team members ranging from the CEO & President, Business Analyst Planner, Inside sales and Customer Service team. In this internship, you will be exposed to learning, development and mentoring sessions while being offered a chance to add value through your unique and fresh perspective.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze ERP, CRM data, and dashboarding.
  • Develop stronger business relationships with key channel partners in international markets(maybe in other time zones)
  • Position new and existing products to customers in the market via customer proposals and quotations
  • Act as liaison between Engineering, Sales, and the customer to lead troubleshooting actions for various product-related issues.
  • Technical support for all Norsat products to customers and Sales team.
  • Understanding all products offered for sales at Norsat. Collate a reference file for each product to support technical inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: 

Minimum 16 hrs./ week and up to 24 hrs per week; minimum 4 months and maximum 6 months; specific weekly schedule to be determined closer to the start date or during the interview. The internship has 460 hours in total.
