INTERNSHIP TITLE
Credentialing & Legal Resources Intern
INTERNSHIP ASSIGNMENT
The Intern will support ACC’s Content Division and will perform the following duties:
- Support the preparation and promotion of the August ACC credentialing program, including the following tasks:
- Track and help coordinate the processing of requests from external or internal stakeholders regarding ACC credentialing programs
- Coordinate the scheduling of calls with program faculty.
- Track and help coordinate faculty’s preparation and submission of materials and items needed for the ACC credentialing programs.
- Help with the preparation of copy for the promotion of the program, and/or for the finalization of course materials
- Help with the identification of visuals and other elements to enrich the course materials for the program
- And other tasks in support of the program.
- Upload publications to ACC’s online Resource Library, with the relevant tags/metadata, and create summaries.
- Archive digital resources from the ACC Resource Library.
- Identify and compile lists of supplemental resources for events such as for the various sessions of the Annual Meeting.
- Create draft content such as draft articles for publication- with use of authorized AI tools where appropriate – based on ACC webcasts and other programs.
- Assist ACC staff with other projects as needed in support of ACC content offerings, events, membership service, internal operations, and/or other ACC functions.
EDUCATION requirement
Current undergraduate student that has completed their freshman year with an interest in law or political science.
DURATION OF PROGRAM
Summer 2026 (8 weeks). Starting June 9, 2026, and ending August 4, 2026.
work schedule
The intern will work a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Two days will be in the office, and three days will be remote. The daily schedule starts at 8:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm with an hour unpaid lunch. ACC’s office is located at 1001 G Street NW, Suite 300W, Washington, DC 20001.
HOURLY RATE
$18.40 an hour minus applicable taxes
Languages
ACC seeks to hire multilingual candidates. Fluency in English is required, and a second language is preferred.
