We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator Intern to support our Talent Acquisition team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate scheduling, applicant tracking, onboarding coordination, and recruitment operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong communication skills, and is interested in building a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition. This role will be a summer internship. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team members.
  • Schedule and assist with onsite interviews while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with job postings across various job boards and recruiting platforms.
  • Support recruiters with candidate communications, interview confirmations, and follow-up correspondence.
  • Assist with the creation, organization, and maintenance of recruiting documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor recruiting inboxes and respond to candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Track recruiting metrics and generate reports as needed.
  • Support special Talent Acquisition projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information.
  • Provide administrative support to the recruiting and HR teams as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in San Luis Obispo up to 30 hours per week
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Previous internship, administrative, customer service, or office experience.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HR software.
  • Interest in recruiting, human resources, or talent management.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and data tracking.
