Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer. This exciting opportunity involves creating engaging visual content for digital and print platforms to support organizational campaigns, events, and communications initiatives. Ideal candidates should have a passion for graphic design, creativity, visual storytelling, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design promotional materials for MAC events and programs, including posters, flyers, social media graphics, banners, and presentations.
• Create visually engaging content aligned with MAC’s branding and communication standards.
• Collaborate with the Communications department to support campaigns and organizational initiatives.
• Assist in developing graphics for websites, newsletters, and digital platforms and various communications projects.
• Edit and format existing visual materials as needed.
• Organize and maintain design files and branding assets in a systematic manner.
• Identify opportunities to improve visual communication and propose creative design solutions.
• Support media and communications projects during events and community activities.
• Ensure all designs are completed within project timelines and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in graphic design, branding, and visual communications.
• Background and experience in graphic design.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training.
• Experience using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is an asset.
• Knowledge of WordPress and social media platforms is an asset.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Creative mindset with a proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with local MAC events and an understanding of the organization’s mission would be preferable.
