The Extern will be a part of an approved internship program where they will have the opportunity to build knowledge and skills in a health care setting. The extern will be provided with exposure to project experience in a formalized program in preparation for careers in healthcare administration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School graduation and completion of one year of applicable degree program in related field of study.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Ability to interact positively with people of all ages and backgrounds.

3. A knowledge of the skills important to customer service, researching and delivering a creative project, and the willingness to learn and develop further knowledge and skills in these areas.

4. Operation of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel.
