About the Role

Seremoni is looking for a passionate, hard-working individual as an Operations Intern to join our growing team in El Segundo. This is a hands-on role for someone excited about working at a start-up, learning the inner-workings of a technology company, and has a passion for food. You’ll get real experience supporting our 2026 goals by contributing to the Operations team to procure, sell, pack, and ship Seremoni Grade seafood across the country. 

This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn the inner workings of a fast-paced startup and enjoys wearing a lot of different hats. 

What you get to do:

You’ll support the Operations team across a wide variety of projects. Naturally, Operations works closely with every other department in the company, so you will also gain exposure working with Sales, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, and Engineering teams. 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Dropping off product to high-profile restaurants around Los Angeles

  • Organizing and managing inventory and invoicing

  • Assisting with events and trade shows

  • Ideating on processes and workflows to set ourselves up for success in 2026 and beyond

  • Trips to fishing ports and our processing facility outside of Seattle, WA

  • Support our logistics team on communications with third party vendors and with customers 

  • Running financial models to provide insights and recommendations that improve the business

  • Market research on seafood CPG items, including making recommendations on SKUs and packaging

What you will need

  • Interest in food, hospitality, and improving the quality of food

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump into different types of projects

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable communicating on the phone and over email

  • Ability to work independently and stay organized

  • Willingness to be hands-on

  • Access to a car for occasional local errands

  • Ability to work from the El Segundo office

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • Working in food, restaurants, or CPG brands

  • Startup environments

  • Knowledge of seafood and/or fishing
