Financial Services Assurance – AFL Sustainability WSP (NTU)

Internship Period: December 2026 to August 2027 

You will be involved in assisting the team with assignments on our Financial Services clients, including:  

Audit 

• Reviewing financial statements.

• Simple external audit procedures.

• Conduct financial audits and examine records for accuracy. 

• Review and assess clients’ internal controls and systems. 

• Plan and execute audit engagements with team members. 

• Prepare and present audit reports and documentation.  

• Identify areas for operational and financial improvement.  

• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve issues. 

Sustainability 

• Conduct research on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) related topics and assist in the development and drafting of research papers.

• Work with the team to design and deliver ESG projects for financial services clients (Asset Management & Insurance (“AM&I”) and Banking and Capital Markets (“BCM”)).

• Gain insights into various global and Asia Pacific ESG and Sustainability Initiatives.

• Understand the dynamics of the AM&I and BCM industries.

• Collaborate closely with ESG subject-matter experts.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Accountancy in Sustainability Management and Analytics students participating in the Work-Study Degree Programme from Nanyang Technological University 

• Keen to develop themselves in the profession 

• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident, and creative 

• Have a good co-curricular activities record 

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills 

• Service-oriented and committed to teamwork and excellence
