Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Helpdesk Intern to join our team for the summer. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment. The intern will work closely with our IT staff to support end users, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to ongoing technology initiatives.
Location: On-site / Hybrid Hours: 15–20 hours/week Duration: June – August
How you’ll make an impact:
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and in person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues on Windows and macOS systems
- Set up, configure, and image workstations, laptops, and peripherals for new and existing employees
- Assist with user account management including password resets and access provisioning in Active Directory
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory
- Support IT staff with system upgrades, software deployments, and infrastructure projects
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff with clear documentation of steps taken
What you bring to the table:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications
- Strong communicationskills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior helpdesk, customer service, or technical support experience is a plus
