Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Materials Technology or Chemical Engineering
  • Year of Graduation: 2023, 2024, or 2025
  • Program: National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) .

 

Key Skills & Knowledge Areas:

  • Strong fundamentals in Material Science (metals, polymers, chemicals) and Sustainability
  • Knowledge of PLM Tools is an advantage
  • Excellent Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Advanced Excel skills (pivots, macros etc) and PowerBI is desired.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support Sustainability team in Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) of Target trucks.
  • Support team in preparing carbon mitigation roadmap and idea generation.
  • Support team in preparing mitigation strategy for PFAS, Heavy Metals, Substances of Concern (SOC)
  • Support team in End of Life (ELV) calculations
  • Learn and apply Volvo’s engineering standards and procedures
  • Participate in technical reviews, data analysis, and report preparation
