Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Year of Graduation: 2023, 2024, or 2025
  • Program: National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) .

 

Key Skills & Knowledge Areas:

 

  • Strong fundamentals in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering/Computer science concepts
  • Knowledge of CAD tools such as CATIA (added advantage)
  • Knowledge of Automation and AIML tools
    • Develop Python-based automation scripts to streamline repetitive data processing tasks, reducing manual effort
    • Build and deploy AI/ML models for data analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive insights on automotive datasets
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, prototype solutions, and document processes for long-term team adoption
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support design and development activities within the assigned engineering team
  • Assist in preparing and updating CAD models, drawings, and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and process improvement initiatives
  • Learn and apply Volvo’s engineering standards and procedures
  • Participate in technical reviews, data analysis, and report preparation
  • Support ongoing engineering and manufacturing operations as part of the learning process
