About the Role


SUMMARY:

Goodwill Industries is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This paid internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, nonprofit environment while supporting day-to-day marketing operations, including digital asset organization, branding, social media support, and general marketing activities.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assist in organizing, tagging, and maintaining digital marketing assets, including images, videos, and campaign files to ensure consistency and easy access.
  2. Support the marketing team with general digital marketing activities, including branding, social media needs, and basic engagement monitoring.
  3. Support the creation of engaging multimedia content, such as videos, animations, and interactive graphics.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all content and assets align with brand guidelines and overall campaign objectives.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions.
  6. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to generate new concepts and campaigns.
  7. Assist with other marketing-related tasks and projects as needed.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in digital marketing, visual communication, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for creativity, design, and making a positive impact in the community.
