About the Role
Description
Join our team and what we'll accomplish together
- Join the TELUS Health Cybersecurity Office (CSO) Strategy and PMO team for a transformative 3-month co-op where you'll drive digital modernization and operational excellence. You'll work on high-impact initiatives including rebuilding our internal and external cybersecurity sites, implementing automation workflows, and identifying process efficiencies that directly support executive governance frameworks. This is your opportunity to support the TELUS Health cybersecurity strategy approach while working alongside experienced security leaders in a hybrid Toronto-based environment starting in mid-June.
Qualifications
What you'll do
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Hands-on experience developing informational or internal web content (team portals, internal sites, or similar platforms)
- Proficiency with Google Suite tools and familiarity with Google Workspace Studio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting ideas and insights to stakeholders
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with genuine eagerness to learn in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with project management or process documentation
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field
What you bring
- Rebuild and modernize the CSO website (both internal and external platforms) to enhance user experience and accessibility for security stakeholders
- Design and implement CSO automation workflows using tools such as n8n and Google Workspace Studio to streamline security operations and reduce manual processes
- Analyze current processes and identify efficiency opportunities that support the security team's operational goals and executive governance requirements
- Collaborate with security leaders and business stakeholders to translate their needs into clear, actionable requirements for digital solutions
- Develop informational web content and team portal platforms that support TELUS Health's digitization priorities and enhance cross-functional collaboration
- Create compelling visual content using Google Vids and other tools to communicate security initiatives and insights to internal and external audiences
- Support the executive governance framework by documenting processes, workflows, and outcomes that demonstrate measurable operational value
Great-to-haves
- Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in cybersecurity, web development, or digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with automation tools such as n8n or similar workflow automation platforms
- Experience with Claude or other AI tools for content creation and process optimization
- Experience with Google Vids or other video content creation tools for communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences
