We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:



Major Duties and Responsibilities  

The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: 

  • contributing to the creation of attractive content, including texts and graphics for the Department/ Centre;
  • documenting the events and writing the report;
  • designing graphics, layouts and artworks; or producing multimedia, digital animations and videos, including developing story and art concept for the Department/ Centre;
  • supporting events/ activities for the Department/ Centre; and
  • performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • full-time students of the University and preferably with training in Creative Arts;
  • skillful at practical writing and interviews;
  • proficient in 2D software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) or video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.);
  • skillful at video, graphic and artwork design;
  • good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • proficient in Chinese and English;
  • good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; and
  • creative, and independent, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Duration of Appointment

The appointee(s) will be required to work for the period from August 2026 to August 2027.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract and are expected to work no more than 17 hours per week at a rate of HK$75 per hour. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
