Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Intern - CAD AI to join our team at PTC Inc. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and integration of artificial intelligence into our cutting-edge CAD software solutions. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers to explore, prototype, and implement AI-driven features that enhance design automation, user experience, and product capabilities.

Job Responsibilities**

* Research and evaluate state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques applicable to CAD design problems, such as generative design, predictive modeling, and intelligent automation.
* Assist in the design, development, and testing of AI-powered features and prototypes within PTC's CAD platforms.
* Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to define requirements and specifications for new AI functionalities.
* Develop and implement algorithms and data processing pipelines for training and deploying AI models.
* Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to CAD AI development.
* Document research findings, code, and project progress clearly and concisely.
* Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
* Contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and tools.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of fundamental AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
* Familiarity with relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
* Basic understanding of CAD principles and geometry, or a strong willingness to learn.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Prior experience with CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
