About the Role

Position Summary

Dialight is seeking an IT Intern for an immersive development program designed for graduate-level students or recent graduates. This role offers hands-on experience supporting IT and cybersecurity initiatives within a global enterprise environment. High-performing interns will be evaluated for full-time employment upon program completion.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Project management support (Meeting co-ordination, project documentation, project time-line tracking and stakeholder communication)
  • Contribute to cybersecurity, including:
    • Phishing simulations
    • Policy, standard and SOP development
    • Vendor co-ordination and communication
  • Support system upgrades, integrations, and technology modernization projects
  • Analyze business, IT and manufacturing workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system diagrams
  • Collaborate with global IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders

 

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT concepts
  • Demonstrated interest in manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, and cybersecurity
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose practical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or academic exposure to Infor ERP, AS400/iSeries, or other manufacturing ERP systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, controls, or tools (e.g., IAM, vulnerability management, SIEM concepts)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD, or ticketing systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (production, inventory, supply chain)
  • Internship, co-op, research, or project experience in IT, manufacturing systems, or cybersecurity
