ABOUT THE TEAM

The Portfolio Management team supports the Real Estate group in ensuring timely access to accurate and relevant data to support investment decisions and provide governance of business and operational processes. This includes reporting production and oversight of the inventory of systems, documents and databases. 

ABOUT YOUR ROLE 

As an Intern, Portfolio Management, Real Estate Investments, you’ll:  

  • Enter, update and reconcile data in different systems and databases

  • Prepare and clean data for system implementations

  • Participate in the test execution for new system implementations

  • Apply data governance processes and controls

  • Assist in the production of various reports and dashboards

  • Support team with various operational activities

  • Support the Portfolio Management team for various requests

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

  • Currently enrolled in a university degree in Finance, Business and IT or a related discipline

  • High level of proficiency in Excel

  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, an asset

  • Someone who enjoys learning new things and a true curiosity for the world around them

  • A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude

  • Proven ability to work in a team setting and to easily adapt to change

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum

  • Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position.  No support to obtain the right to work will be provided

    • *Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit

  • Good communications skills in English and French (or willingness to learn) (regular interactions in English with investment partners based outside of Quebec Example: peers, bankers, brokerage firms, etc. and PSP employees in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
