About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and scientifically-minded Intern to join our Quality team. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of clinical science, regulatory compliance, and product formulation. You will assist in validating health claims for our products, navigating Health Canada’s regulatory framework, and the physical creation of next-generation health supplements.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create and update product specifications by consolidating formulation, manufacturing, testing, and packaging requirements.
  • Review existing specifications to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to collect and verify technical information.
  • Support document control activities, including version management and maintenance of specification records.
  • Assist with quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing specification accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems.
  • Ability to analyze technical information and communicate effectively.
  • Interest in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Work Environment 

  • This is a full-time, 100% in-office position for approximately 4 months with the potential to extend.
