  • Build, document, and validate the electro-mechanical performance of motors, gearmotors, blowers, drives, software, circuitry, and other products

  • Conduct tests, analyze data, and provide formal report-outs on findings and recommendations

  • Create and support the development of technical documentation

What we are looking for:

  • Must be enrolled in a relevant Engineering degree program at an accredited university; Mechanical Engineering majors would be a good fit, but similar majors are considered

  • Sophomore or higher-level standing

  • 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail to effectively communicate with others is highly beneficial

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to read assembly prints for assembly/disassembly of motors and gearmotors given training and supervision

  • Knowledge or interest in embedded systems programming or PCB design is a plus

Additional characteristics:

  • Ability to set up and tear down mechanical or electrical test equipment

  • Ability to work in a laboratory environment

  • Energetic, inquisitive, and motivated
