PHC is committed to serving the impoverished, uninsured populations in St. Louis and St Louis County communities. About the Role:

The Student Intern position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop professional skills within a dynamic work environment. The intern will contribute to ongoing projects by supporting various teams, assisting with research, and performing administrative tasks that enhance operational efficiency. This role is designed to provide hands-on learning, allowing the intern to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily business functions and will be encouraged to take initiative and propose innovative ideas. Ultimately, this internship aims to prepare the student for future career success by fostering critical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Saint Louis city or Wellston proof of residency
  • Household income requirements must be met  

Responsibilities:
