The Circularity team from the Volvo Group Trucks Purchasing division, is a multicultural team dedicated to promote and develop new circular business model within purchasing department, support Volvo Group commitment to decarbonize the transport solution of tomorrow and to reach our sustainability target. To get successful in this mission, we value trustful cooperations with our supply partners and with our cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a data product manager able to reinforce our team from September 2026. You will be located in Saint Priest (France) well connected to Lyon’s public transportation. The duration and modalities could be adjusted based on your school’s constraints (1 or 2 years).
 
MISSION
•    Drive and coordinate the implementation of digital circular solution.
•    Optimize our existing digital solution to measure and value circularity.
•    Investigate new business model or new way of working to strengthen circularity in our industry.
•    Contribute to the cross-functional decision by representing the purchasing vision
•    Run benchmark with other industries.
•    Be an active member of the cross regional network (France, UK, Sweden, USA, India)
•    To lead properly this mission, you will have to interact with many stakeholders internally and externally.
 

WHO ARE YOU
•    You have a deep interest in sustainability matter
•    You have a deep interest in Digitalization and you are comfortable with Data management.
•    You are a strong and flexible team player, eager to learn and improve.
•    You have a can-do approach: you have a positive mindset, high level of energy, and you are ready to tackle challenges,
•    You demonstrate good communication skills and comfortable in cross-functional and multi-cultural set-up,
•    You are fluent in English,
•    You enjoy managing many parallel activities and you have a target-oriented approach,
•    You are following an engineering or business school academic training, targeting a Master of Science or Business Administration,
•    Former experience in business development such as Purchasing are considered as assets
•    You have experience in Project management
