About the Role

We are seeking an Actuarial Intern to join our Life Actuarial Services Unit. Reporting to the Chief Actuary, you will play a key role in supporting actuarial reporting, data analysis, and a variety of analytical and operational initiatives that contribute to the team’s core projects and business outcomes. 

We are looking for an Intern that can commit to a 6 month duration, preferably between April to September 2026.

Your Role

Assisting Life Actuarial Services Unit 

1)  Data Management:

     •  Maintain client data within the database system

     •  Perform initial validation of data

     •  Execute data cleansing operations

     •  Retrieve client product documentation

2)  Provide support for actuarial tasks, including experience studies, valuation, and pricing

3)  Conduct research on issues and information in the insurance industry

4)  Support for systematic document organization

 

Your Profile

     •  Recent university graduate or expected to graduate soon

     •  Preferred fields of study: Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related fields in data management

     •  Excellent in MS Office, with high proficiency in Excel (ability to perform complex functions) and SQL

     •  Experience with Python or R, and familiarity with data manipulation libraries (preferred)

     •  Actuarial certification studied or obtained (preferred)

     •  Intermediate proficiency in English communication (preferred)

     •  Proactive, positive, and adaptable work attitude

     •  Team-oriented with a readiness to collaborate
