About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Financial Analyst Intern to join our growing A&F team.
In this role, you will assist in tracking financial performance, analyzing cost trends, and supporting forecasting models to eliminate manual waste and maximize analytical efficiency.
You will play an essential part in supporting Sunbytes’ ongoing expansion and success by transforming complex datasets into clear, honest, and objective insights for management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Variance Analysis: Track, analyze, and compare actual revenues and expenses against budgets/forecasts; identify and investigate the root causes of financial variances.
Trend & Cost Analysis: Conduct deep dives into cost structures and spending trends across different departments or projects to identify optimization opportunities.
Cash Flow & Financial Modeling: Assist in updating and maintaining simple financial models to support short-term revenue forecasting and cash flow management.
Data Visualization & Reporting: Transform complex datasets into clear charts, graphs, and dashboards (via Excel/Google Sheets or PowerBI) for management presentations.

Job Requirements
Technical skills:
Must-have:
Education: Final-year students or recent graduates in Corporate Finance, Data Analytics,Economics, Mathematical Economics, or Business Administration (Finance track) with 0-6 months of experience.
Excel/Google Sheets: Proficient with analytical formulas, Pivot Tables, and advanced charting.
Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of the structure and relationship between financial statements (especially P&L and Cash Flow) from a management perspective, rather than an accounting/debit-credit perspective.
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge of Power Query, VBA, or SQL is a strong plus.
Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI.
