What you’ll do:
Location: Barcelona, Spain / Hybrid
The SAP iXp Intern – Sustainability, Partner Demand Generation & Marketing will support the Partner Engagement team within SAP’s Sustainability organization. This individual will focus on driving awareness, engagement, and pipeline generation with and through strategic partners by supporting partner marketing initiatives, demand generation activities, and go-to-market activation across priority programs.
This role will support the development and execution of partner-led marketing plays designed to increase visibility and accelerate demand for SAP’s sustainability solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the planning and execution of partner-led demand generation programs, including webinars, events, digital campaigns, and field activation initiatives.
- Create and adapt campaign assets such as presentation materials, invitation copy, follow-up communications, one-pagers, and internal enablement content.
- Help prepare partner-facing messaging and marketing materials that clearly communicate the value of SAP’s sustainability solutions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Partner Management, Marketing, Sales, and regional teams to support aligned campaign execution.
- Track campaign and engagement performance, organize data, and identify insights to improve future demand generation efforts.
- Support scalable marketing and activation programs that strengthen SAP’s partner ecosystem and contribute to business growth.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, improve content development, streamline campaign support activities, and enhance overall productivity and output quality.

This role is integral to how SAP engages strategic partners to extend market reach, increase customer awareness, and support meaningful business outcomes through coordinated marketing and demand generation efforts.

Educational Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, or related field.
- Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or JD/PhD program.
Position Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create polished presentations, organize campaign activities, and analyze performance data.
- Proficiency with AI tools and the ability to apply them effectively to research, content development, campaign support, and workflow efficiency.
- Demonstrated business acumen and an interest in marketing, demand generation, and partner go-to-market models.
- Passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to impactful projects in this space.
- Ability to work 20–40 hours per week during the internship period, with availability to work in a hybrid environment in Barcelona.
- High level of Business English, both written and verbal, is required; additional European languages are a plus.
Desired Skills / Experience to Be Successful in This Role:
- Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills, including the ability to create compelling visual stories and track campaign or engagement trends.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in working across cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Interest in partner marketing, digital campaigns, webinars, events, and field activation.
- Confidence using AI tools to improve speed, quality, and consistency across marketing and demand generation tasks.
- Prior experience or coursework in marketing, communications, demand generation, sustainability, or project management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing activity to business objectives and partner engagement outcomes.
- Proficiency with AI tools and a practical understanding of how to use them responsibly to improve productivity and marketing execution.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
