About the Role
Information
At Flyhjælp, we give people access to justice.Flyhjælp helps air passengers across the Nordics claim compensation when their flights are delayed or cancelled. We combine legal expertise with technology to make the process swift, easy and transparent.
We are currently looking for a new HR Student Assistant to join our Copenhagen office on a part-time basis (10-15 hours weekly).
In this role, you will work closely with our HR Manager in Copenhagen and support with a wide range of HR-related tasks across recruitment, employee administration, internal documentation, compliance, onboarding and day-to-day HR operations. You will also collaborate with our HR team in Berlin, as Flyhjælp is part of the German legal-tech company Flightright.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently studying HRM, psychology, business administration or another relevant field, and who would like to gain practical experience within HR in an international company.
The role will give you insight into how HR works in practice in a growing legal-tech company, where you will support both recurring HR processes and ad hoc tasks. Depending on your skills, interests and development, there will also be room to take on more complex tasks over time.
Your mission
Your mission is to support our HR function in Copenhagen and help ensure that our HR processes are structured, compliant and carried out with care. You will assist with a broad range of HR tasks that support the full employee journey -from recruitment and contracts to onboarding, internal documentation, employee communication and practical HR administration.
This is a role for someone who enjoys structure, takes responsibility and is motivated by learning how HR works in a real organisational setting. You will be trusted with your own tasks and will have the opportunity to develop your skills while working closely with experienced HR colleagues.
You will become part of a small but important HR setup in Copenhagen, while also being connected to our broader HR team in Berlin. Your work will contribute to creating a professional, supportive and well-organised employee experience at Flyhjælp.
In your day-to-day work, you will:
- Assist with drafting employment contracts, contract changes and other HR-related documents
- Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination and practical follow-up

- Help with ad hoc HR tasks related to employee experience, communication, administration and compliance
Your profile
- You are currently studying HRM, psychology, business administration or another relevant field, and you are interested in gaining hands-on experience within HR.
- You do not need to have extensive previous HR experience. What matters most is that you are structured, responsible and willing to learn. You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership of your own tasks and following them through to completion.
- You enjoy working with details, documentation and administrative processes, and you understand the importance of handling employee-related information with care and confidentiality. At the same time, you are service-minded and enjoy supporting both colleagues and candidates in a professional and helpful way.

Since 2021, Flyhjælp has been part of the German company Flightright, which connects us to a broader European legal-tech setup and gives us close collaboration with colleagues in Berlin, Budapest, Cairo and Kyiv.
