AKA Asia, a Publicis Groupe agency, is an award-winning integrated communications agency founded in Singapore in 2009. Overview

Note: This is for the internship period for June 2026 onwards for 6 months.

 

Contribute to day-to-day account implementation, supporting other team members in ensuring the efficient delivery of the communications plan.

The role will see you supporting with account, media and influencer management as well as contributing to shoots, events and new business pitches. There will be opportunities to flex your creative writing skills for a range of assets and mediums, from press releases to video scripts and social media posts.

Responsibilities

ACCOUNT SUPPORT

 

Client handling

  • Attend client meetings, draft agendas and contact report
  • Keep up-to-date record of forthcoming editorial coverage
  • Support with compiling monthly or project reports
  • Proactively put forward suggestions/ideas to account teams

Media Monitoring

  • Daily media monitoring
  • Proactively monitor and flag trends or coverage from clients’ competitors, market, or industry

Media and influencer management

  • Build media/influencer relations skills and pitch stories/partnerships
  • Update and manage media/influencer database

Copywriting

  • Research and write press releases and marketing copy i.e. newsletters, advertorials, social media copy

Shoots & Events

  • Attend and support at video and/or photoshoots
  • Support with event coordination including liaising and negotiating with suppliers, assembling media packs, arranging logistics and team diaries, whilst keeping teams and clients up to date

New Business Development

  • Undertake research to support new business pitch decks
  • Attend and contribute to brainstorms and planning session

  • Strong attention to detail/follow through
  • Positive attitude and works well under pressure
  • Team player and self-starter who can work with minimum supervision
