Purpose of the Role:

We have an exciting co-op opportunity within our Client Services team for a student in their 3rd or 4th year of post-secondary studies specializing in Finance, Economics, or Business. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting while contributing to a dynamic, client-focused environment. 

The Client Service team is responsible for providing exceptional service to our high-net-worth clients.  The team is collaborative and client-focused, and utilizes exceptional communication, problem-solving and relationship management skills and in-depth product and industry knowledge to provide excellent service to clients and our advisors.

This position is an 8-month co-op term starting in September 2026 and ending May 2027. The location will be a hybrid of work from home and an in-office environment. 

This role will require that this individual needs to be in office 4 days per week. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client accounts are compliant by completing regulatory required documentation. 
  • Provide administrative expertise and deliver a high level of personalized client service. 
  • Execute on client requests for non-financial changes. 
  • Liaise with custodians and insurance carriers to execute on client requests in a timely manner; proactively escalating where necessary to ensure strict adherence to service level agreements. 
  • Maintain client data and perform data integrity checks for quality control. 
  • Provide back up support to other team members as necessary. 
  • Other relevant and related responsibilities, as assigned and as the needs of the organization change. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of studies in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Economics or Business. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistent highly accurate work 
  • Strong client service / client relations skills and prior experience. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office including MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Experience and/or keen interest in the financial services industry. 
  • Experience with a CRM database, Salesforce preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). 
  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and think critically to seek out information and solutions independently. 
  • Experience working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members. 
  • The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong organization, time management and prioritization skills with the confidence to adapt to change as necessary. 

Compensation & Benefits Package:

This position comes with a base salary range of $26/hour, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
